To mark Global Handwashing Day, Bihar College of Pharmacy (BCP) organized an impactful community outreach program in Village Manjhauli, Bihar Sharif. The initiative aimed to promote awareness about the importance of hand hygiene in preventing diseases and maintaining overall health.
As part of the program, students of BCP actively participated in various engaging activities to educate the villagers, especially children. Highlights of the event included a Nukkad Natak emphasizing the role of proper handwashing in disease prevention, demonstrations of the 7 steps of handwashing using informative charts and live practice sessions, and slogan recitations to reinforce the message of cleanliness and hygiene.
The event successfully embodied the spirit of Global Handwashing Day 2025—“Clean Hands are Within Reach.”
