comprehensive anti-ragging measures for the academic session 2025–26

Bihar College of Pharmacy, New Bailey Road, Patna, has implemented comprehensive anti-ragging measures for the academic session 2025–26. The Anti-Ragging Committee and Anti-Ragging Squad have been reconstituted as per UGC regulations.

An Anti-Ragging Awareness Seminar and Poster-Making Competition were organized on 10th November 2025 to sensitize students about the legal, ethical, and social implications of ragging. Students actively participated, and the best posters were displayed across the campus under the theme “Say No to Ragging – Yes to Respect.”

Anti-ragging charts, posters, and helpline information have been displayed prominently at all key locations — entrances, classrooms, laboratories, hostels, and the library. CCTV cameras have been installed and made functional at all vulnerable points for continuous surveillance.

The institution has intimated the Rupaspur Police Station, Patna, regarding the commencement of the session and the preventive measures adopted; police officials have acknowledged the same and extended their support.

During the orientation program for first-year students, all freshers were briefed about the UGC Anti-Ragging Regulations (2009, amended) and were encouraged to report any untoward incident confidentially.

Regular monitoring and surprise checks by the Anti-Ragging Squad ensure discipline and cordial student interaction. No case of ragging has been reported during the current academic session.
